The YMCA offers a wide variety of group fitness classes geared towards all ages and abilities of our members.

From yoga, to bootcamp to martial arts, there is a class for everyone.

Acrylic Painting

Learn to paint and relieve stress.  Beginners welcome.   Facility & Program Member – $46/month

Advanced/Power Yoga

More advanced postures and stretches are combined to promote physical flexibility, improve core strength and reduce stress by relaxing the mind and body.

Bootcamp

Bootcamp fitness is a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core, and functional movement. Bootcamp classes utilize the principles of muscle confusion and vary workout and exercise selection. Your body will never adapt and will help you avoid plateaus.

Chisel

This no-nonsense strength training class is for men and women who want to get stronger, look better and feel healthier!

Core Strength

Workout routine incorporating elements from various exercise routines and disciplines for an intense, core focused session.

Cycling

Cycling incorporates various types of riding techniques and simulates an outdoor ride filled with hills, sprints and other terrains.

Gentle Stretch Yoga

This beginner yoga class is designed to help improve sleep, increase self-awareness, focus, and benefit all systems of the body. Recommend for active adults of all fitness levels.

HIIT

High Intensity interval training incorporating various exercise elements into a circuit style training routine.

Jujitsu/Self Defense

Jujitsu stresses using an opponent’s own strength against them by redirecting the attack. Students are taught how to roll and fall safely, throwing techniques, escapes from grabs, how to block punches and submission techniques.  Fee – $35

Kickboxing

Shed off those unwanted pounds while strengthening your body at the same time with a variety of drills and exercises.  Recommended for Intermediate and Advanced Fitness levels.

Line Dance

This class combines dance moves with great music to get your feet moving and calories burning. A fantastic way to have fun while exercising!

Pilates

Focus on integrating the entire body, rather than exercising each body part separately. As you begin to focus on your body as a whole you’ll achieve better alignment and re-teach your body to work more efficiently.

Reps & Sets

High intensity interval training with various strength elements incorporated into a circuit style routine.

Senior Strut

This fun WALKING class, geared towards the older active adult, uses energetic music and lets you walk your way to fitness! You’ll strengthen your heart & lungs and work on muscular strength, flexibility, & balance.

Silver & Fit Experience

A fitness and healthy aging program designed to help you achieve better health through regular exercise.

SilverSneakers® Classic

Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a small rubber ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises. All fitness levels welcome.

STRONG by Zumba™

Music led interval training, for this class a yoga mat is required.  If you do not have one, one will be provided for you.

Tone & Pump

Tone & Pump Challenge all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!

Wii Bowling

Come join us for our 10 week Wii Bowling League. Compete against others on either Mondays or Fridays.

Yoga

Zumba®

This class fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow dance moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program.

Zumba® Gold

Zumba® Gold is based on the same dance moves used in the original Zumba class. The Gold class, however, is less intense, with dance routines designed for beginners and older adults using modified movements.

 

SCHEDULES

20/20/10

Ages 15+
20 minutes of low impact aerobics, followed by 20 minutes of steps will get you sweating and burning calories. Then finish with 10 minutes of intense weight training to strengthen and tone every muscle in your body.

Adult Tap – NEW

Ages 18+
Come dance the rhythm! Students in this mixed-level class will learn or review basic tap techniques and then progress to more complex steps and choreographed routines. Tap shoes recommended but not required.

Move towards mastering Pilates matwork in this advanced workout geared towards tuning your body like a fine instrument.
Recommended for Advanced fitness levels.

Barre Body®

Ages 15+
A ballet-inspired class set to a mix of upbeat music. Students use a variety of props to promote the development of long, lean muscles.

Gentle Fitness

Ages 50+

Hi/Lo Aerobic Groove

Ages 18+

Step Interval

Ages 15+
Blast your body into shape with this high intensity workout. Alternate intervals of step aerobics, upper body weight training and abdominal work to fast-paced music. All fitness levels welcome.

Strength, Stretch & Balance

Ages 15+
Use dumbbells, stability balls and mat work to develop all around strength and flexibility. Also, improve your balance and coordination which is important at any age, but critical for the older adult. All fitness levels welcome.

Stretch and Relaxation

Ages 50+
Relax both mind and body with gentle, soothing stretches followed by mindful meditation and visualization. Includes breath work designed to reduce stress and anxiety. Ideal for seniors or anyone wanting to cultivate focus and inner calm. All fitness levels welcome.

Super Step

Ages 15+
A fast-paced step class will leave you invigorated as well as entertained! Caution: This is a serious workout. All fitness levels welcome.

Supreme Senior

Ages 50+
Functional exercises for seniors with an emphasis on balance and coordination. All fitness levels encouraged to participate. All fitness levels welcome.
