Description
The Counselor In Training Program is a fun leadership development experience that prepares teens to become counselors once they turn 16. Training sessions include:

• Team Building
• Communication Skills
• Child Development
• Risk Management
• Behavior Management
• Recreational Planning and Implementation

Training is combined with on-the-job experience working with younger campers under the guidance of Senior Camp Staff. Upon completion of the mandatory training sessions, CITs will be able to choose from any of our K-6 camp programs to spend their summer learning and working directly with our campers and staff. Monthly 1:1 meetings with Camp Director will provide feedback and goals for each CIT.
