Camp Connections for Children with Special Needs > Ages 7-16
Moorestown Friends School | 100 E. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057
The YMCA of Burlington & Camden Counties is proud to expand Camp Connections, a program designed for children with special needs.
Our objective is to ensure that each camper has an enriched and engaging summer experience that compliments extended school year programs. Our caring, qualified staff team is committed to providing a positive, supportive environment that fosters relationship building, self esteem development and independence.
The Camp Connections program is appropriate for children ages 7-16 who are able to participate in a group with a 1:3 staff to camper ratio. Campers who are in need of extra care may choose to bring an aide.
Campers will participate in traditional camp activities that emphasize opportunities for socialization, expression, physical activity and learning:
|
Swimming (Instructional & Recreational) |
Songs |
| Arts & Crafts |
Games & Teambuilding Activities |
| Science & Nature |
Outside Presenters |
