About the YMCA

America’s 2,663 YMCAs serve more than 20.2 million people each year, uniting men, women and children of all ages, races, faiths, backgrounds, abilities and income levels. At the heart of community life across America, mission-driven YMCAs are a place to belong and to live the values that guide and unite our members: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Today, the YMCA of Burlington County’s …
  • Child Care Programs serve 1,300 children per day
  • Parent-Child Programs involve 1,800 families annually
  • Day Camps serve 400 youth and teens each week during the summer
  • Teen Programs reach 4,500 adolescents per year
  • Programs for Seniors support 1,300 older adults each year
  • Youth Sports & Aquatic Programs reach over 9,000 individuals per year
  • Wellness Programs are offered to over 12,000 members

We are …
  • America’s oldest and largest non-profit community-based social service organization and charity;
  • The inventor of basketball, racquetball, volleyball and the first organized summer camps;
  • The nation’s largest provider of child care;
  • The largest youth sports organization; and
  • America’s leading swim instructor.

Strong Kids Campaign
We build bridges for families who value our programs and require our services but may not be able to afford the fees. Each year the Strong Kids Campaign helps us close the financial gap between what families can afford and the reasonable, yet sometimes just out of reach cost of our programs.

Do you need assistance? Or would you like to give back to your community?
